Reuters reports that researchers have found a chemical salinomycin which is 100 times more powerful than common chemo drugs like Taxol. This could make breast cancer easier to cure. There is hope even if it takes time to get such treatments and to see if it is safe for humans. Impossible to sit down at the computer without seeing a dozen or more interesting articles with endless links. Now I read "Do you complain too much" by author Valerie Frankel testing a book "A complaint free world" by Missouri Minister Will Bowen. She was trying to stop griping, moaning, and whining. I felt instantly guilty but read the long article till the end, luckily. Valerie reported her family's valiant efforts and it was a hilarious report ending in throwing out the rubber bands (used as reminders) in garbage and resuming the life as before. Complaining is part of life and helps me stay human although I know I complain too much and must curb it a bit. I think it is this wheelchair, pain, loss of independence, constantly needing others, missing the normal life, envying others without cancer who can walk... OK, enough complaining. Time to count my many blessings and distract myself. I appreciate every feedback from my readers. I wish I could meet you in person.
